RotoComm, The Swivel Belt-Clip for Police and Fire Two-Way Portable Radios was created by Retired LAPD Officer Tim Pearce. The RotoComm alternative replaces the radio’s original straight belt-clip. It eliminates the leather holster and makes radio carry compact and comfortable. Made for Motorola XTS 3000 to XTS 5000 and EF Johnson 5100 Series Radios.
“It’s a great product, the value that the RotoComm provides in terms of officer safety is priceless.” – Captain Hink, Redondo Beach Police Department
Used by command staff, officers, investigators, training cadres, detectives and firemen in over 25 different agencies. Appropriate for federal, state and local law enforcement, fire departments, private security, airports, universities, stadiums, events and industrial sites.
About Tim Pearce
Tim Pearce prides himself on always looking for a better solution. Whether in a patrol car or working the projects as a gang officer, he thrust himself into his work with a passionate intensity.
A LAPD detective, he married his former patrol partner in 2003, an equally intense gang officer. She was later shot and paralyzed in a fight with a robbery suspect, and their story became national news. Her courageous fight to walk again and Tim’s steadfast support of her through every circumstance inspired audiences all over the world.
In 2007, a year after his wife was shot, Tim found a therapeutic outlet in the form of invention. Tim started Accuracy Under Fire LLC and began successfully developing effective officer safety products, like RotoComm, to better protect fellow officers.
